Flowers of Summer Harvest

This piece was inspired by a gorgeous photograph by Robert Breese. I fell in love with the landscape and the misty morning light. The foreground is very heavily painted with pallet knives in the impasto style as to create depth.  This effect that is my own technique creates dimensional interest.
